I have been wanting to contact you for a long time. In 1998 or 1999 my boyfriend (now husband) was mixing for you when you were an opening act for the Amy Grant Christmas Tour – Cici Wyans was also on that tour. Scott Appleton was a sound guy on that tour and mixed for you – he introduced us becasue I loved your music – I told you to pray for him – because at the time he was not sure about his christianity. You were a real witness to him – he thought you guys were great and “real christians” as he put it – he was and still is very cynical of christian artists (seen so much). I want you to know that he is a wonderful christian man – over the years he has grown in the Lord and is a wonderful Godly husband and father. His heart is so real and he is so honest with his struggles and love for God and Jesus. I wanted you to know that you had a part in this fruit. We never know how God is using us and we may not find out until heaven how some of our prayers have been answered. You probably don’t even remember this is was so long ago – but I hope this encourages you and I am thanking you from the bottom of my heart. God Bless – keep up the good work – much love Beth Appleton

Our Prayers are with you and your Family and the Island of Samoa. May God keep you in perfect peace and surround you with his love.

My Family and I love you so much. We Enjoy your beautiful music. your songs just minister to our souls and makes us remember how good God is, and that I want to be pleasing in his sight. n

We know every song that you sang. Oh, We love when you come to Cornerstone Church in Toledo,Ohio. When my family and I find out that “The Katina’s” are coming, we cancel everything to come see These Bless Men of God. and we are blessed everytime you come. Thank You so much, for being such a Blessing to us through your music. To God be the Glory.

  5. Talofa Family,
It’s your cuzin Joe (the one who lived in Hawaii and went to your brother David’s church, and now lives in Cumming, GA).
Just stoppin by to see how you guys are doing.I have been praying for Samoa, and hope your aiga is doing well. I’ve got aiga out in Pago Pago as well, they are o.k., but we don’t know how the house is.
Anyways, just wanted to let you know that I’m also praying for you guys, and also that I saw your tour schedule, and I’m bummed that you guys won’t be in Georgia. Hopefully next year.
It’s always good to see aiga, especially since we left Hawaii.
    Much Alofa,
    Joe

  6. I just wanted to tell you that I remember you are from Samoa– and that you all are in my heart. Perhaps part of the reason the Lord gave the voices and hearts He did is for such a time as this.

    Much love in Yeshua (Jesus),

    Pam

I used to attend Capital Christian Center in Sacramento. Your family blessed us so much but I remember one time in particular. Our singles were having a fund raiser selling food and you were there the same day. A few of us had stayed up all night cooking and getting ready. I was asked to bring you water for up on the stage and accidentally brought you iced watered bottles. Well needless to say I felt awful because cold water is not good while singing. Afterwards you boys had not eaten anything so I went into the kitchen fixed box dinner for you all to take to the hotel. You were so gracious and hugged each of us and kept telling me it was alright about the water. With all that said I ended up moving to Wahiawa and started attending Koinonia Christian Center in Waipahu and who did I find there but David and Debbie Pastoring. They helped me start a childrens church on base. So your families have been a great inspiration in my life and now I am singing on our worship team and sing a lot of your songs (God’s) in Pittsburg, California. If you are ever our way we would love for you to come to our small but humble and growing church.
You have been blessed with the annointing of music and I praise God I was a little part of it. Thank you also for your music has brought me through some really hard times.
    Love in Christ

  11. Hi guys – Of all places I run into you at Bosie Airprot with your CD’s falling out of the box and me and my wife helping you pick them up!! I know these guys ! It’s the Katinas ! I first saw you in Nashville many years ago at Christ Church. I have been a Missionary Pilot for 37 years now, living mostly in Indonesia where my kids grew up and now flying Gods Word in Africa and South America. I have your music set up to listen to while I am flying over the jungles of some of the most remote places on this earth. Your music has even been heard by the Dyak tribal people of Indonesia ! Thanks for your ministry of music ! Keep going – never stop serving Him !! Blessings, John and Nancy Hook, MAF

DEAR KATINAS, I FIRST SAW YOU AT CALVARY CHAPEL DIAMOND BAR…..IVE KNOWN OF YOU FOR A COUPLE OF MONTHS AND I CAN ONLY SAY THAT YOUR SOUND WAS, TO MY EARS AND HEART THE MOST BEAUTIFUL MUSIC I HAVE HEARD TO DATE….I AM 69 YEARS OLD, I DIDN’T THINK WORSHIP MUSIC COULD SOUND SO GREAT…I BOUGHT THE CONCERT DVD FROM THE ROCK IN SAN DIEGO….NOT ONLY DO YOU INSPIRE PEOPLE WITH YOUR GIFT FROM GOD BUT YOU MAKE ME WANT TO DANCE… I NOW OWN EVERY CD YOU HAVE RECORDED. I WISH I HAD PAID CLOSER ATTENTION TO WHO I WAS WATCHING, AND HOPEFULLY SOMEDAY I WILL SEE YOU IN CONCERT UP CLOSE.
I GREW UP IN THE 50′S 60,S I HAVE ALWAYS LOVED
MUSIC AND WHEN I CAME TO KNOW JESUS, THE WORSHIP MUSIC ALTHOUGH IT IS VERY BEAUTIFUL, IT DID NOT INSPIRE ME. I,VE BEEN LOOKING FOR A LONG TIME NOW.
I FEEL THE LORD BROUGHT YOU TO ME JUST AT THE RIGHT
    TIME.
I HAVE LOGGED ON TO YOUR WEBSITE TO GET TO KNOW YOU BETTER AND THE PHOTOS OF YOU AS YOUNG CHILDREN TOUCHED MY HEART…I RAISED THREE BEAUTIFUL
SONS AND I THINK YOU ALL REMIND ME OF THOSE TIMES IN MY LIFE. MY FAVORITE CD SO FAR IS THE SAMOAN ONE.
I KNOW JOHNS VOICE (MY FAVORITE) IN ALL THE STYLES HE SINGS, SOMETIMES YOU CAN,T TELL WHEN JESSE STOPS AND JOHN STARTS. IN SOME OF THE OLDER RECORDINGS I HEAR VOICES THAT ARE DIFFERENT, THE VOICE IS VERY DEEP UNLIKE JESSES OR JOHNS.
I WANT TO MENTION THAT YOU WERE BEAUTIFUL AS BOYS AND NOW AS MEN YOU ARE EVEN MORE HANDSOME.
PLEASE KNOW THAT YOUR BEAUTIFUL VOICES AND YOUR INCREDIBLE TALENT IS REALLY BLESSING PEOPLE SUCH AS MYSELF.
MAY GOD BLESS YOU AND YOUR FAMILIES OVER AND OVER AGAIN. SINCERELY,
    JUDY

    Hi Guys!

I’m your biggest (self-proclaimed) fan here in the Philippines ever since your visit here. I’ve been waiting for your Christmas album to be released here but had no luck at the stores even until now. I also tried looking for it in iTunes but it isn’t available yet.

Any idea when your album will be released internationally? I’m still very much waiting for it even if Christmas has come and gone. Hope you guys get in touch!

    Hi:

DO you have any plans of having a concert tour in Manila?? :-)

  18. By Bill Dawson

I’m trying to get tickets to the Louisville show on Feb. 13. How do I get the tickets for my wife and I? We lived down in Nashville for 8 years and were there when you all were rockin Christ Church and made even Pastor Hardwick rock out. ;-) Along with Landy and the Christ Church Choir. We love you guys and miss you all something bad. Our boys are loving your older stuff as well. Just got the new music off itunes and it’s Awesome as well. Can you help us out with ticket info for your Louisville date? I’m not asking for free, I want to buy the tickets if they are still available.
Thanks and Peace to all of you.
    Bill

Thank you so much for bringing your Tour to Maui!! I am so excited and can’t wait for August 1, 2010, but I will. I have already started telling people to come, even letting them borrow my Katina CD’s (that’s not easy to do). I use to attend The Rock, until I moved to Maui 3 years ago, but now I can only go when I visit. Many times, I have missed you all in San Diego by a weekend and its been frustrating. Then I found out you all sometimes go to Oahu, but I can’t always afford that trip. Anyways, Thank God Almighty and you all for gracing Maui with your gift. I will see you at the MAC on August 1st with my family and many friends!!!

    Thank you
